Adrift

  • Matt and his best friend, John, go to Montauk.

    They go to Montauk to make a little extra cash for the summer and plan on going back home right after. Seems like a normal plan for two guys from Queens, New York.

  • Matt and John try to handle the situation.

    They are used to creating stability in unstable situations, but Matt’s busy falling in love at the worst possible time, and John doesn't know how to act around other people when he’s trying to stay alive.

  • Matt meets a girl.

    The girl is Driana, she leads him to a party, the party leads to a boat, which leads to being adrift at sea with three rich kids who have no clue about how to navigate a boat, let alone actually survive.

  • Trying to keep the peace.

    Driana is the one trying to keep the peace, but her friends JoJo and Stef aren’t making it easy. The longer they are out there, the lower everyone’s mental and emotional strength is.

  • The loss strength.

    The biggest mistakes can happen when people are tired, hungry, and have no hope, and Jojo's death from infection doesn' help matters at all.

  • Thrown off the boat.

    When Jojo's infected arm makes him go crazy, it causes Driana to throw him off the boat when there was a shark circling it, which lead to a very bloody death for Jojo.

  • The unexpected

    The three left on the boat just recently experienced the death of their friend, and most certainly aren't ready a hurricane that they don't know about.

  • Help comes

    The three friends see a helicopter overhead and it informs them that are going to be saved. About an hour after the message pf help is given to them a freighter comes to get them.

  • Safe at last

    Once they get on the boat, the doctors give them food and IVs and they have Matt's dad fly out to the ship and detectives interview them on their way back to land.

  • The hurricane

    During the hurricane, there was nothing but Driana's water left. She gets thrown off the boat and almost drowns and John knocks Matt out so he doesn't jump in the water after her and risk his own life. Once the wind calms down, the boat starts to sink, but they get lucky and find some floating logs.
