People were mad about having to pay taxes for tea. They dressed up like Indians and marched down to 3 ships that were sitting in the harbor and dumped the tea that was on them into the water. -
Battle of Lexington & Concord
A British general hear that there was illegal wepons in Concord. The British general set of to Concord and 2 men named Paul Revere and William Dawes saw then and went to warn the people who had the wepons. As the Bitish entered Lexington 70 minutemen blocked thier path. A shot was fired and the minutemen ran away and the British contined to Concord when they got there they had to turn around and go home because there was nothing there. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
Bunker Hill over look the Boston Harbor and the British war ships. In the night the American soldiers took the hill and built defense walls on it. The next morning the Red coats took the hill from the Americans on their second try. -

The British tried to gain control of colonies. They started with New York. Gorge Washington was forced off of Long Island and he went to New Jersey. -

George Washington led the Continental Army from Whitemarsh to Valley Forge. On the night Washington led the army across the Delaware river and they surprised the Hessians. -

The Americans and French fought together agenst the British. Cornwallis surrenderd to the Americans and French. -
Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris ended the Revolutionary War between Great Britian and United States of America. The document was written by the Congress of the Confederation.
