    It was an early morning on June 17, when John Mitchell and John Dean and they were caught stealing documents and wiretapping phones from the Democratic National Commitee. Then they had got with Nixons reelction campign to try and cover all of this up. So when the public had found out about everything it lead to many people knowing about all the tapes and documents.     Kennedy was assassinated while traveling through Dallas, Texas in a convertible. This is when 600 marchers, protesting the death of Jimmie Lee Jackson and ongoing exclusion from the electoral process and had been attacked by state.

    Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on April 4th, 1968 in Memphis, Tennesee. He was standing on the second floor of balcony of the Lorraine Motel when all of a sudden a snipes bullet hit him in the neck. He was then rushed to the hosptial and pronounced dead an hour later.

    Elvis Presley died on August 16, 1977. He was the king of rock and roll and lots of people were very hurt when he had passed away. He had died because he suffered from a heart attack only being 42 years old.

    President Ronald Reagan had got shot outside of the Hilton Hotel by John Hinckley Jr. He wasnt a very good shooter so a lot of the bullets didnt explode and hit some police officers and a service agent. Finally it hit his limo and had shot the president in the chest.

    MTV was the first 24-hour cable network dedicated to only putting music videos on air. The Buggles’ “Video Killed the Radio Star” was the first music video that they had shown on there first episode and was only avaible in parts of New Jeresy. It became a very good source of pop music so people could learn the new tunes.
