  • My Experience With CPR

  • I Learned How To Provide Hands-Only CPR

At a nursing camp, I learned how to provide chest compressions that would otherwise save someone's life. The book says, " If you're not trained in CPR, then provide hands only CPR" (9).
  • I Also Learned How To Provide First Aid

Also at nursing camp, I learned how to use all the materials commonly found in a first aid kit. This is important because first aid can be beneficial to prevent some serious injuries. The book says, "Make sure you know how to properly use all of the items in your kit, especially the medications" (12).
  • I Think I Learned Quite A Bit

I believe that I am not a stranger towards these ideas because I have been exposed to them. I can effectively use a first aid kit and I can also do CPR if no one else in the area has been trained. The book says, "It's far better to do something than to do nothing at all if you're fearful that your knowledge or abilities aren't 100 percent complete" (9).
