    Fall of The Neolithic Revolution

    The Neolithic Revolution started by a change from hunting and gathering plants to a more agricultural based farming. This was a big change. Near the end of this time, they transitioned to bronze from copper.

    The Oldest Text

    The oldest Mesopotamian text was made by the Sumerians. It was called cuneiform. They would made wedge shapes in a clay tablet that would harden and be almost indestructible.

    The First Civilization

    The Mesopotamia was a very fertile land between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The creators of this civilization were the Sumerians.They created a number of cities and were very agricultural based. They also did a lot with math and science, they started using multiplication and geometry. There were a number of Empires that occurred during this first civilization.

    The Egyptians

    The Egyptians are split into a couple different kingdoms. They are the Old, Middle and New kingdom. They all had their different types of advancement.s

    The Old Kingdom

    The Egyptians are known for their architecture. They built some of the most outstanding buildings. this includes the many pyramids. Pyramids are meant to worship the dead. They would make three different structures for the royal family and cabinet. The Egyptians also had to learn how to preserve the body, so they practiced mummification.

    Akkadian Empire

    This was one of the first empires in the Mesopotamian Civilization. The leader of Akkadian was Sargon. He led some of the first invasions of this Empire. He ended up capturing all of Mesopotamia and even a little westward. This inspired leaders of the Near Eastern to try to accomplish as much as Sargon.

    Hammurabi's Empire

    Hammurabi's Empire was a very important one. He ended up developing the first law. There were 282 of them. It was called The Code of Hammurabi. His empire was also revolutionary in war.

    The Assyrian Empire

    The Assyrian Empire was a fairly large empire. At the peak of the empire, they were controlled by kings who had absolute power. They were a very strong military power. This included them in taking over a lot of land. The Army was well trained and very disciplined. They were very strategic and that helped them tremendously.

    The Israelite's

    The Israelite's were around for about 500 years. They created the Hebrew Bible. This is known as the Old Testament in today's bible. A lot of scholars today, believe that the Old Testament is just how the Israelite's saw themselves. They created one of the most influential books in the world.
  • Period: 600 BCE to 486 BCE

    The Persians

    The Persians may be one of the most important dynasties every. They ended up being the largest dynasty of that time. Their leader was Cyrus the Great. he is arguably the best leader the world has seen. He took over many towns and got people to follow him. He was very wise and was a revolutionary battle planner.
