ALCS game 1

Game 2
In game 2 the Yankees won again 3-1 this time. Losing pitcher Pedro Martinez (called the yanks his "daddys" in 2003) was verbally abused with the phrase "WHOSE YOUR DADDY" from yankee fans. -
Game 3

In game 4, a must win for the b-sox, the Red sox rallied in the bottom of the 9th inning and won in extra innings on a David Ortiz walkoff home run! -
Game 5
The same fate again in game 5, in the bottom of the 14th inning, Ortiz struck again with a walkoff homer to force game 6 and won game 5, 5 to 4 -
Game 6
In game 6, Curt Schilling became famous for his "Bloody sock", as he was pitching with a ruptured tendon in his ankle, and some of his stitches came undone, resulting in an expanding patch of blood in his sock. The red sox won, forcing game seven, and became the first team to tie a series after being down 3-0 in mlb history. -
The curse ends
In game seven, an early grand slam from outfielder Jonny Damon sealed the comeback, the first time in mlb history that a team, after being down 3-0 in a series came back to win 4 straight games to win a series! -
World Champions
In The world series, The Red sox swept the NL champion Cardinals 4 games to none, and clinched their first world series since 1918, and ended the so called "curse" that "kept the sox from winning a world series".
