    In game 2 the Yankees won again 3-1 this time. Losing pitcher Pedro Martinez (called the yanks his "daddys" in 2003) was verbally abused with the phrase "WHOSE YOUR DADDY" from yankee fans.

    In game 6, Curt Schilling became famous for his "Bloody sock", as he was pitching with a ruptured tendon in his ankle, and some of his stitches came undone, resulting in an expanding patch of blood in his sock. The red sox won, forcing game seven, and became the first team to tie a series after being down 3-0 in mlb history.
