2000s

    Digital Camera
Prior to digital cameras we took pictures with film. Then we had to bring the film to get developed which could take up to a few days if we didn't use the 1 hour photo. Then when the pictures came back we might find out they were blurry or someone's finger was in the way or the top of someone's head got cut off. So disappointing. Then we used to hang pictures up everywhere, on our bedroom mirrors, in our lockers, and the really great ones would get frames.
  • PS2

    PS2
I used to play Tony Hawk, Dynasty Warriors, and Simpsons Road Rage with my boyfriends on PS2. (Not simultaneously, different boyfriends at different times).
  • MP3 players

    MP3 players
I didn't get my first ipod until the late 2000s. We no longer needed radios or to burn CDs to keep in our cars.
  • Tivo

    Tivo
It says Tivos came out in 1989 but I didn't have one until 2005 when my roommate got one and let me use it. I used it to tape General Hospital only, nothing else. My roommate always made fun of me for that.
  • CD Burners

    CD Burners
We rarely bought CDs, we would download the songs from kazaa or wherever, or if someone did actually buy a CD, we would burn copies for everyone else.
