Hitler and the Nazi's gained power on Jan. 30, 1933. By march that year, Hitler and the Nazis had total control of Germany. The reason i picked this event because i was interested about how and when the Nazis came to power of Germany. -
No Strings
No Strings is a musical and a book. The author of the book was Samuel A. Taylor. The words and music were by Richard Rodgers. This was Rodgers only broadway score when he wrote both lyrics and music. It's also the first musical he composed since his collabrator Oscar Hammerstein died. I chose this event because i've heard about it before, but never knew about it. so i wanted to learn more about it, it seems intersting. -
The 1937 Ford!!
In 1937, ford updated their cars with one major thing. The introduction of the entry level (2.2L) V8 engine, in addition to the popular (3.6L) flet head V8. When that car came out, they were priced at $850. The model 48 was Fords main product that year. I picked this topic because i really like cars. Fords in particullar. -
The German Invasion
The German army attacked Poland on sept. 1st 1939. Poland was defeated by the 28th. The polish gorerment fled to France. they then fled to Britian after the germans invaded France. I chose this event because i didn't know much about the war, and i wanted to learn more. -
The Ford update
The Ford car was thoroughly updated in 1941. The front fenders came in three pieces. The reason for this is that so small damage could be replaced easily. The hood risers changed. Also, the convertible version of the car had no rear side window. the only side windows were in the doors. Five different coil/ distributor arrangements were made and used in 1941, causing confusion for mechanics. The reason i picked this topic is because i really like old classics. -

Italy declares war on Germany
General Pietro Badoglio took power after Mussolini fell from power. Badoglio negotiated the conditional surrender of Italy to Axis powers. On the very same day Hitler launched operation Axis. I picked this because i was curious about it. -
Leyte Gulf
it was pretty much the largest navel battle of WWII. It lasted from the 23rd-26th in October 1944. It was fought between America/Australia vs. Japan. I picked this because i never heard of it before and was curious about it. -
Colmar Pocket
The colmar pocket was an area held in France by the Germans from November 1944- February 1945. It was formed when the 6th army group liberated the northern and southern Alsace but not central. I picked this because i needed one more thing to pick. -
Hitler commits sucide
Hitler and his wife both committed suicide. He shot himself and she took cyanide. They were in a security bunker. This happened on April 30, 1945. I picked this because it seemed interesting. -

The VMA is a united states marine corps fighter squardron consisting of AV-8B Harrier jets.It is under command of Marine aircraft group 13 and is based at air station Yuma, Arozina. The squadrent was best known as the black sheep of WWII. I p[icked this because it seemed intersting.
