    The act limited the amount of people who could come into the United States. This act, however, severely restricted certain nationalities from entering the US like Jews.

    Philo Taylor Farnsworth invented the television in 1927. He grew up without electricity, creating this invention was a very big deal. It created so many more entertainment possibilities which were later made into even more advances in technology.
  • The Great Depression

    The Great Depression occurred in 1929 and lasted till about 1939. Those ten years were very heartbreaking for many United States citizens because many people lost their jobs. It was a result of the stock market crashing in October 1929.
  • End of Prohibition

    Prohibition ended in in 1933. This means that alcohol was now allowed to be produced and sold throughout the United States.
  • Franklin Roosevelts Precedency

    Franklin Roosevelt was president from 1933 till 1945. His presidency was the longest out of every US president to date.
  • The Attack on Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor in Hawaii was attacked by the Japanese during the beginning of WWII. This made many Americans upset resulting in the United States joining in WWII.
