    The Palmer Raids were a series of raids done by the United States Department of Justice to catch and arrest suspected radical leftists, and especially anarchists. Radical leftists are left wing politics and anarchists are people who believe in anarchy. They were usually deported.

    The Steel Strike started in 1919. It was an attempt by the weakend Amalgamated Association of iron (steel and tin workers) to organize the Untied States steel industry in the beginning of WWl. It was ended in the beginning of 1920. It didn’t even last a year.
