  • The Battle of Little Bighorn

    The Battle of Little Bighorn began on June 25, 1876. Custer and his all his men were defeated and killed by 3,000 Native Americans, and Chief Sitting Bull and Chief Crazy Horse, along with their men, won the Battle of Little Bighorn.

  • The Homestead Steel Strike

    The Homestead Steel Strike in Homestead, Pennsylvania became a fight between the strikers and the Pinkerton Detective Agency. The Pinkerton men fired guns at the strikers. Nine strikers and seven Pinkerton men were killed.

    The Pullman Strike of 1894 was an unsuccessful strike by the American Railroad Union against the Pullman Company that ultimately resulted in the federal troopers ending the nationwide railroad strike, and 30 strikers were killed.
