These loans would come from the Veterans Administration, which would last until 1962.

    Fat Man
    The Fat Man was an atomic bomb that would come to explode over Nagasaki, a Japanese city. It would detonate on August 9, 1945, and would lead to the beginning of the end of the war between Japan in WWII. The explosion of this bomb would cause a total of 70,000 deaths out of the 270,000 that were living there. It would also destroy at least two-thirds of the city.

    The Iron Curtain was a physical and physiological barrier created by the Soviet Union in order for them to seal themselves off from countries that followed a non-communistic form of government. This was done after WWII and enacted by Winston Churchill. This would done prevent capitalist nations in intervening with communist Soviet Union citizens mindset of liking capitalism more instead of communism.

    The Berlin Airlift was a system of planes from the United States and Britain that would constantly travel to West Berlin in order for them to drop supplies for the people there. Berlin was surrounded by Communist Soviet Union at the time, and other non-communist countries had no way of entering due to the blockade that lead into West Berlin. As a result, it would create the airlift system and would drop more than 2.3 million tons of cargo there.

McCarthy would spend about five years in trying to expose supposedly communist political members a part of the government.     This was a program done in order to help with the European side of recovery after WWII. It sole purpose was to help with the economic state of European countries and and was able to contribute around 13 billion dollars to these countries. This idea of European Recovery came from George Marshall, a widely known United States veteran and the secretary of state at the time.

    The Fair Deal was created by United States President Harry Truman. This would be an addition to previous president Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal. This deal encourage Americans to work in getting education, telephones, etc. This deal would also help in creating better guarantees of civil rights, better wages, and health insurance for the American people. Social Security and the Employment Practices Act would also be created from this deal.

    Little Richard, born on December 5, 1932, was a popular Rock and Roll artist. Like many other popular Rock and Roll artist, he too would help shape Rock and Roll and the popularity for the genre. He started out singing gospel and learning to play piano. He later then made the hit song "Tuttie-Frootie" which lead him to his contract with RCA. His work inside of the Rock and Roll music industry caused others like Elvis Presley to be influence and follow in his footsteps.

    Thermonuclear bomb, also known as the hydrogen bomb, would be a devastating bomb that would prove to deal more damage than an atomic bomb. The bomb was in itself, an atomic bomb within an hydrogen bomb, and would cause a higher deal of thermonuclear energy to cause explosions. The bomb would split atomic nuclei through the process of fission which is the opposite of the atomic bomb which collided atomic atoms together.

    Dr. Jonas Salk, born on October 28, 1914, was a medical researcher. Salk, had started working inside the School of Public Health inside of Michigan University where he had studied on making a vaccine against the flu. He later then went to University of Pittsburgh where he then able to create the Polio vaccine on 1955. The vaccine was then released to the public of the United States and prevented the Polio from continuing.

    A part of the Rock and Roll generation of music, Elvis Presley became the most widely known musician around the 1950's at the age of 20. His music would be a combination of both Rhythm and Blues music. He would also receive much critizsm and issues while performing his music due to his "sexual" movements and dancing. As a result, he would gain the nickname "Elvis the Pelvis".

    Brown v. Board of Education
    Brown v. Board of Education was an important and widely known supreme court case that would shape the American society during the 1950's. This court case would deem that schools that separate between black and white students was unconstitutional. Which is going against the Plessy v. Ferguson court case which deemed that schools were allowed to segregate between Blacks and Whites so long as they were equals. This case would play a major role in the in helping the Civil Rights Movement.
  • Emmett Till Tragedy

    Emmett Till Tragedy
    Emmett Till Tragedy was a situation that deal with 14 year African American child Emmett Till and his tragic death. Emmett was dared to go and ask Carolyn Bryant a white lady, on a date. However, after his approach, he was abducted and beaten by two men related to Bryant. He would be thrown into a river and be found later with bruises that left him unidentifiable except through his ring. His death and the open casket funeral would greatly raise the Civil Rights Movement.

    The Montgomery Bus Boycott was a system that African Americans created in order to put bus businesses out of business. They would do this by refusing to take the bus and instead walk together or even create car pool systems. Since, most of the bus passengers consisted of African Americans, bus businesses would quickly start to lose money. However, this system would also cause violent resentment from whites who weren't for this boycott.

This war would greatly enhance the outlook of the Cold War, because it would mean that the winner of this war and their way of government was better than the other.     Bill Haley and the Comets was one of many popular groups of Rock and Roll musicians during the 1950's. They were able to incorporate different genres of music into their songs, such as R&B, country music, and Western Swing. Their most famous hit song was "Rock Around the Clock", which is also considered to be the song that had made Rock and Roll so popular.

    Albert Sabin, born on August 6, 1906, was a Polish American physician and microbiologist. Sabin, was able to continue research on the Polio vaccine and later created the oral version of the Polio vaccine. His contribution to the vaccine would then allow almost all Americans to receive the vaccine and further decrease the disease from spreading.

    The Little Rock Nine were a group of nine African American students who were first going to school to an all-white school at Central High School in Arkansas. This was done after the Brown v. Board supreme court case that deemed segregated schools were unconstitutional. This however, caused great issues to where students were denied entry into the school by Governor Faubus. As a result, Eisenhower would then send in troops that would watch over these students until graduation.

This next decade after their creation would vastly grow our technological improvement in space technology and would eventually lead us to the idea of sending a man to the moon, as suggest by President John F, Kennedy.

    Ike Turner was a R&B musician that eventually grew to become a popular legend. He had created the group, Kings of Rhythm which eventually created what today is considered to be the first Rock and Roll recorded song "Rocket 88". He also was awarded a Grammy along with his wife on 1971. However, Ike Turner had fell into addiction with drugs and would eventually die from cocaine overdose in 2007.

The Peace Corps would consist of mostly volunteers that hoped to help these countries which would spark a new innovative movement of working together and volunteering.

    The New Frontier was a political idea and slogan made by President John F. Kennedy. This idea of a New Frontier would promote a better economic, technological, and social America. Different programs would be created that would help raise minimum wage, lower tax rates, and would encourage the big mission of landing a man on the moon. These programs would also reassure Americans that they were winning against the Space Race and were still the best country.

John Kennedy would then carefully deal with the issue with a calmer approach which would thankfully avoid a possible WWIII.

    Malcolm X, born on May 19, 1925, was a African American activist that took a more forward approach for civil rights. He didn't believe with the idea of non-violence and instead wanted to promote the idea of fending for ourselves and militancy. He was a believer of Islam and thought the religion was meant for Blacks. However, after he took his trip to Mecca, he then realized that the religion was for everyone and came to agree with non-violence.
  • Assassination of JFK

    Assassination of JFK
    On November 2, 1963, the assassination of president John F. Kennedy would occur. This would happen in Dallas, Texas as president Kennedy was traveling inside of his signature open-top convertible. During his motorcade where he would greet American citizens and to give them a sense of happiness and reassurance, he would be shot by Lee Harvey Oswald from the sixth floor of a building. Kennedy would be shot twice and be announced dead 30 minutes later.

    Lee Harvey Oswald was the shooting of the assassination of JFK. He would fire at president John F. Kennedy from the sixth floor of a building with his gun rifle. He would make three attempted shots, two of which hit the president, one hitting the president's throat and the other fatally hitting Kennedy's brain. He was previously a U.S marine and was defected to the Soviet Union. Later after the death of the president, he would be killed by Jack Ruby.

This violence would be broadcasted and shown to the world, giving influence that segregation should be stopped.

    Barry Goldwater, born on 1909, was a politician serving as a senate. He was a conservative politician and would run in the 1964 election against Lyndon B. Johnson. Goldwater had believed in getting rid of the New Deal and the Great Society. To promote his campaign Goldwater would use very radical ideas such as the widely known "Daisy girl Ad". He presidential campaign would leave him a loss with 40 percent of votes.

This act would deem segregation and discrimination illegal and gave African American citizens protection on their voting rights. Kennedy would being to make plans for this act, however, he would be assassinated before he would do so. Later however, president Johnson would continue this act and have it into created into law.

However, as it began to spread to others that were not considered gay, people began to become fearful and worried of this disease.

Thus, essentially helping the general economy of the nation. As a result of this type of economy, the nation was able to begin recovering from stagflation.

    Sandra Day O'Connor, born on March 26, 1930, was the first ever female Supreme Court Justice member. Previously, she acted as the Arizona state senate. She was nominated by president Ronald Reagan and confirmed by the Senate. She was able to be a part of many important cases in the Supreme Court such as Roe v. Wade. She eventually retired on 2006 after acting as a supreme court Justice for 24 years.

This would be an aircraft that would be reusable aircraft that would be used to assemble satellites, international space station, etc. However, on the launch of the space shuttle Challenger, the aircraft would explode and also causing the 7 astronauts on board to die as well.

The way of doing this would to have use of lasers and shields that would destroy and block these missiles. Footage of the police brutality on Rodney King would be released and cause a great upset on the Black American community. The officers related to the abuse would receive no punishments and cause a large violent upset. Black communicates would then start riots and violence in the streets of Los Angles.

    The election of 1992 would deal with Republican president George H.W Bush,Democratic member Bill Clinton, and Ross Perot. Clinton would win the election with 370 electoral votes against Bush's 188 electoral votes. Bush had alienated many of the conservatives in his part by breaking his campaign pledge of raising taxes. Ross had also launched an independent campaign that projected his rejection of the NAFTA agreement.
