  • 3.1- Imaginary Audience

    Imaginary audience is the most common for kids to doing that. I remember when I was a little girl who loves to imagine things out of me. I used to sneak in garage and drive the tractor around the backyard to imagine that is car. I was doing the formal operational thinking to think of a story that happened before in my life.
  • 4.1.- Gender-typed behavior

    I've always knew that I am a girl because I play with toys that are supposed to be appropriate for their gender. I always play with barbies, babies and role play. I've never played with cars, trucks, or army dolls. It became a stereotype of a child to play toys based on gender.
  • 2.1 Early Maturer

    I was one of early maturer because I was grown up in an environment of women. I have two older sisters and two same-sex parents while my father lived in California so my house is full of women that cause me develop in a early maturer. When I got my first period, I was embarrassed to tell my friends about it because I was first person to got it so I kept it a secret until my peers got it. I am finally feeling comfortable to discuss with them.
  • 8.1- Rites of Passage

    I was experienced a rite of passage in my life once when I went to a funeral for my step grandmother, I wasn't that very close to her but we went to her funeral, all of us dress up in a black outfit until after a funeral, we went to my step-grandmother's daughter's home for ceremony, and all of them decided to have a celebrate her 94 years on the earth. All of my family were partied, some of them are drunk and all of us were talking about memories with her. It was very happy ceremony.
  • 6.3- Intimacy

    In my elementary school, I didn't actually have a best friend until my late 5th grade. There is a girl who become my best friend, we just click it together. We couldn't stop talk to each other, we schedule our sleep overs without asking our parents. She is my companionship, still now! When we play sports, we were very stimulation to each other because we want to be a better player than each other.
  • 4.2- Non-gender typed behavior

    Non-gender typed behavior is not about how they are supposed to act and not about what is appropriate gender-specific behavior. I play sports when I was in elementary school and discover my skills in basketball which it means that boys play basketball too. There is no gender stereotypes label on which gender should play basketball.
  • 6.1- parent adolescent conflict

    There were many parent adolescent conflict between me and my single parent mother because I wasn't old enough to understand why is my mother always have a financial aid problems. I was having argue with my mom that I didn't have enough of clothes compare to my other friends but my mom was frustrated with me because I don't understand the concept of how my mom handle with the money. I was giving her a bad attitude because I thought I was suppose to get my way.
  • 7.3: Intrinsic Motivation

    I remember a day when I feel intrinsic motivation when my middle school teacher convince all of us to pass test above 90%, we will be able to have a day off with movie, soda drink and pop-corn. So all of my classmates were motivated each other by study together so that way we can have 90% above on the earth science test. Often, we successfully our tests so I feel that was really good bribe.
  • 7.2- Transition to College

    The idea of transition to college from high school has been a big impacted me because of a big transition that cause me feeling anxiety, confused, stress and happy at same time. I have a lot of questions like will I explore? Will I find my friends? Will I be alone? will I be independence? Will I be ok in school? It is good thing that Gallaudet University provide many tools where I can find my way around. I am grateful for my inner friends because they made me who I am today!
  • 1.1 Entering Adolescen

    I first became an adolescent when I was twenty-one years old, because that is when I finally brought my first own car. That make me feel an independence by taking responsible to make my own payment monthly and insurance. To take a big responsible by driving around in D.C. which means I have to be a good driver and pay attention those cars around me.
  • 1.2 Emerging Adulthood

    There is another part of me emerging adulthood by living off campus near Gallaudet University. I am currently on my 5th year so I've been always want to live off campus so now here I am, but again I have to take responsible by saving money, make payment for house/utlitlies, shopping food and cooking. I am loving the life that I live right now, to taste the experience of living off campus.
