    Asanation Of Archduke Ferdinand
    He had been doing his duties of the day checking in on the older and continuing his routine after meeting a few important leaders that had a significant meaning to him. As the convey turned down the wrong street they were attacked and he was shot in the neck ending his life shortly after causing a good bit of general uprise as tensions with other countries had already been tight.Soon after this more alliances were set as the assassination solidified the groups till the war started a month later.

    Battle of Verdun
    In this battle of the German had wanted the mot bloodshed he could have caused to the other party(French). Here the Germans wanted to take the fort the French were occupying which was the main center of their forces essentially. This had backfired on Germany and had caused a great loss of life on their side rather than on the French's as the Germans had to draw back from the forts they did claim as they were weakened and the French said it's ours and we want it again.

    Battle of Somme

    In the battle of Somme, the allied had attempted to lay an assault on the German lines this battle of one of the highest death tolls of this war. A lot of new warfare ideas were introduced or more reinforced in this battle as it took place. The allied had in the end gained the ground but the loss is very significant to all the parties involved in this fight. Hard criticism would follow on both sides to how the leaders had acted in this time as the losses they were accountable for were high.

    Leo here explains how he was in no rush to really enlist as many country folks like himself found the war to be alright. Upon him venturing out to see what the enlistment was he was 1st turned around saying they were looking for already trained military. He then goes into further description of the condition they lived in and the trials they went to pass the enlistment process speaking of physical health trial in which people who left everything were forced to go back non the less saddening him.

    United States enters the war
    America had outrage in the citizens already at the beginning of the was as many of their neutral ships had been sunk with American family members on them. Germany had said they wouldn't fire on the ships and then the sinking of the Lusitania happened and America had enough of it all. They gave Germany one more chance which a rejected leading to them joining the war much to the citizen's joy as they had been wanting justice for the long while but Wilson had said no-till this sinking happened.

    Here Leo talks in detail about his first deployment and how that was for him as a soldier being in this new place with a new set of rule and restrictions he had. He talks a lot about the conditions they were in and how they may not have been the most pleasing. Going into detail he says that while being in the place he is the scenery is very different and he can’t explore the area as much as he’d like since the free days he has are only on Sundays and even then he may not be completely free.

    Training

    Here he states about them preparing for field training which would be a mock situation in a way. As they did the march the men grew tired along the way but continued to prevail and make an accustomed home in the trenches they were in for the night till they were cleared to go back. Shortly then after getting back he could hear the sound of airships and was amazed by the sight of the war-equipped airships as he had never seen them outside of pictures leaving him entranced.

    Here we are told about the journey to the front lines that he had experienced and some of his time there. He goes into detail about the safety measures they put into place to make sure that no one could possibly spot them on the train. We move to them being told to not wander the town too much as foreign faces that are there for business that could attract the Germans to the area after hearing this they avoid it but the Germans still bomb the area luckily missing Leo and his Squad to an extent.

    Here Leo talks about how he was sent back to the training camps back with his squadron and how this was the rest of the war functioned towards besides the times he had gotten more minor injuries on the fields or during training. The memories being in his mind for the rest of his life. The doctoring at the time had been alright to him with recovery and the procedures in general giving him a slight fright but overall being of the better sense in his conditions.

    In this peace conference, you have the main leader France \talking with everyone else except Germany as they started the war. They made sure to talk about everything that could be talked about with how to make Germany pay for what they did to everyone in the war. The Germans in the end had to accept that they were the sole starter of the war which they had heavily disliked.
