The Voting Rights Act heavily enforced the 15th Amendment because the South was using loopholes to avoid African-American voting rights. Florida Amendment 4 was passed on November 6, 2018, the amendment gives back voting rights to people who were convicted of a crime or felony after they have completed their sentence, with parole and probation. people who have committed crimes such as murder or sexual offenses do not apply to this amendment.
