Baby news!
Peter's parents tell him that they are going to have a third baby. Peter is upset because he thinks that the new baby is going to be be like Fudge; a bad and annoying little boy. Because of this Peter says that he is going to run away. -
It's a GIRL!!
The baby is born and it's a girl. Peter's parents name her Tamara but everyone calls her Tootsie. -
Were Moving!
Peter's parents tell the family that they are all moving to Princeton for one year. It will be a big change because Peter and Fudge have been living in Manhattan their whole life. -
Fist day at the new school
Summer had passed and it was the first day at their new school. Fudge was starting kindergarten and Peter was starting 6th grade. -
A friend visits from NYC!
Peter's friend, Jimmy Fargo, comes to visit him from NYC. Peter shows Jimmy his father's famous painting for sale in a Princeton shop window. -
Fudge gets in trouble!
Peter's little brother, Fudge, and his little brother's friend, Daniel, ride their bikes to a bakery near the highway. The bakery is very far from home. When they get back they get in big trouble. Their parents were worried and had been looking for them for a long time because they didn't know where Fudge and Daniel were. -
Tootsie learns to walk
Peter's dad is having a hard time with his job at Princeton. However, happy news comes as Tootsie learns to walk! She is now hobbling around the house and finding things that she shouldn't play with! -
We're moving home!
It has been about a year now and Peter's parents talk to the family about moving home to Manhattan in NYC. Peter and Fudge both agree that they should move back. So the family packs up and moves home. This is how the book ends.
