Billy's birth
Billy was born in Ilium, New York in 1922. He was the only child of a barber. Billy was a funny looking child, who then became a funny looking youth. He was tall and weak, and shaped like a bottle of Coca-Cola. He graduated from Ilium High School in the upper third of his class. -
Funeral Day
He took a train to maneuvers in South Carolina to his fathers funeral in Ilium. -
Two Days
Two days after the city was destroyed. Billy and the rest were being marched into the ruins by their guards. VK was there and so was O'Hare. -
3 Years After The War
Billy committed himself in the middle of his final year at the Ilium School of Optometry. No one ever expected that Billy was going crazy. Now he was in the hospital and the doctors agreed that he was going crazy. -
Little League
Billy blinked in 1965, traveled in time to 1958. He was at a banquet for his son Roberts Little League team. -
New Years Eve
Billy blinked in 1958, traveled in time 1961. It was New Years Eve, and Billy was drunk at a party. He usually did not drink because the was ruined his stomach. That night he cheated on his wife with a woman that was very drunk herself. -
Billy Pilgrim has become unstuck in time.
Billy has gone to sleep a senile widower and awakened on his wedding day. He walked through a door in 1955 and come out one in 1941. He has gone back through that door to find himself in 1963. He has seen his birth and death many times, as he says. Billy pays random visits to all events in between. -
Visiting Pine Knoll
Billy was 41 and he was visiting his mother at Pine Knoll. Pine Knoll was the old peoples home he put her in only a month before. His mother got sick with pneumonia, and was not expected to live. She did live for years later. -
Kidnapped
He had been kidnapped by a flying saucer in 1967. He said the saucer was from Tralfamadore. He was taken to Tralfamdore, where he was displayed naked in a zoo. He said he was mated with a former Earthling movie star named Montana Wildhack. -
Plane Crash
A group of optometrists and Billy chartered an airplane to fly them from Ilium to an international convention of optometrists in Montreal. The plane crashed on top of Sugarbush Mountain, in Vermont. Everyone was killed but Billy. -
Billy Pilgrim's Death
Billy Pilgrim dies after he is lecturing a large crowd. He knew he was going to die an hour before and reveals Lazzaro's promise to kill him. He closes his speech with a message that death is not eternal. Billy dies by an assassins high-powered laser gun.
