    Ryan Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, he was the youngest of four children. His father was a food wholesaler, and his mother worked as a retail-store saleswoman.

    Sometime between 1991 - 1993, Ryan Reynolds appeared in a Nickelodeon series known as Fifteen. The series was filmed in Florida and featured many other Canadian actors. Ryan played the role of Billy Simpson. The television series was 65 episodes long. Ryan Reynolds was the only actor to appear in all 65 episodes of the series.

    After the series "Fifteen" ended in 1993, Ryan went on to star in some forgettable films. An example of one is Glenn Close's "Serving In Silence : The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story". Another example was CBC's update of "In Cold Blood". He only had small roles in these films, but they still weren't very successful.

    After his run of bad luck, Ryan decided to quit acting, until he ran into Chris William Martin. Martin was a fellow actor from Vancouver and when he found Ryan he told him to pack his things because they were going to head to Los Angeles, California. He ended up getting the role of Berg in "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place". The show wasn't successful at first but was redone by writer Kevin Abbott. After the remake, the show was a minor success.
