    French and Indian war
    The French and Indian war was the seven years of war. Which means that this war went on for seven years. The war was played out in Europe, India, and North America.They battled for colonial domination in North America. It led to the British declaration of war in 1756. Wars led on and on, and they never stopped til they got what they wanted. Britain and France were fighting over the Ohio River Valley. It helped the American REvolution by who got what.
  • Proclamation

    Proclamation
    The Proclamation closed off the colonial expansion.The king and his council presented this proclamation to the indians so that they wont fear anything bad. The proclamation provided lands west of the heads of all the rivers which flowed into the Atlantic Ocean from the West or the Northwest. And made these areas off limits to the colonist.

    The Stamp act was the first internal tax levied directly on Americna Colonist by the British government. This act came on when the British Empire was in deep debt from the Seven Year's war. The people wanted it to be unconstitutional, and they resorted to mob violence to intimidate stamp collectors into resigning. This Stamp Act helped the American Revolution by giving the people less taxes and helping others out.

    The Townshend Acts imposed duteis on glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea imported into the colonies. Townshend hoped the acts would defray imperial expenses in the colonies, but many Americans viewed the taxation as an abuse of power. In 177, the Parliment repealed the Townshend duties except the tax on tea, leading to a tempuary truce between the two sides.The Townshend act helped the American Revolution by giving rules and taxes that people will have to obey and do.

    The Boston Massacre was a street fight, between a "Patriot" mob, throwing snowballs, stones, sticks and a squad of British soldiers. The riot began when about 50 citizens attacked a British sentinel. The captian of the squad brought in more men. This riot led to a campaign, then which led to speech-writers. This Boston Massacre didnt help the American Revolution, it made it worse. People died becuase of the soldiers shooting them, and killing them.

    The Tea Act passed by the Parliaments. It would spark the final revolutionary movement in Boston. The act was not intended to to raise revenue in the American Colonies, and in fact imposed no new taxes. It was designed to prop up the East India company which was flowing with finacial issues and other issues. It was burdened with 18 million pounds of unsold tea. This tea act helped the American Revolution by giving people something to live on and something for people to drink.

    The Boston Tea party was a political protest by the sons of Liberty in Boston. The boston tea party difiance served as a protest against taxation. Seeking to boost the East India company, British Parliament adjusted import duties with the passage of the Tea Act in 1773. While consignees in Charleston, New York and Philadelphia rejected Tea shipments. The Boston Tea Party helped the American Revolution because it had an act. An act of doing stuff for other people, and to make laws and rules.

    The Intolerable acts was the American Patriots name for a series of punitive laws passed by the british parliament. They were meant to punish the Massachusetts colonists for throwing the Boston Tea Party into the Boston Harbor. The government spent immense money on troops and equipment in an attempt to subjugate Massachusetts. This Intolerable acts helped the American Revolution by giving rules and consequences for bad things.

    Lexington and concord fought on April 19, 1775, kicked off the American Revolution war. Tensions had been building for many years between residents of the 13 American colonies and British authorities. On the night of April 18,1775, hundreds of British troops marched over to nearby concord in order to seize an arms ache. Lexington and Concord helped the American Revolution by having troops march into lexington and concord in order to arms ache.
