    A French force attacks George Washington and his troops at Fort Necessity in retaliation ffor the attack on the French at the Great Meadows. Washington is forced to surrender and leave the Ohio Valley.

    The Treaty of Paris was signed in order to end the French and Indian War. It declared the British had won and they conqured land east of the Mississippi River.
