Flashback
This scene captures the entirety of the flashback. It shows a student claiming that someone is in trouble which catches the attention of Alexis. We get a shot of Alexis' face in the corridor after hearing this and he is seen running down ripping apart his clothes, revealing his super-hero suit. He arrives at the scene where a woman is bleeding to death and introduces himself as the Apex-Arachnid, however he claims that he can't help this woman as it "doesn't match his job description. -
Opening scene
Introduce Alexis Webber (Nahiyan) as the protagonist. We will be shooting in his bedroom getting a range of shots to capture his hobbies/interests, for instance; super-hero action figures, comics and films. The camera is going to gradually be moving from his bedroom furniture like his desk, alarm clock and cupboard - eventually getting a shot of Alexis sleeping. Finally, we capture the moment when Alexis wakes up and accidentally stepping onto an action figure. -
The Exposition
The camera will then dissolve to a shot where Alexis is walking towards his college. In this moment, Alexis' voice-over is being utilised. He is seen to be ridiculed by two students at the college who are laughing at the fact that the Apex-Arachnid is an unaccomplished super-hero. The voice-over continues until there is a flashback which is shot inside the college. It consists of a character claiming that someone is in trouble which catches the attention of Alexis who is supposedly a super-hero. -
Friendship
The camera dissolves from the flashback into present time with Alexis' voice-over still playing. He is confronted by a girl (Helena) who studies at the same college as Alexis and they express phatic talk. They walk towards a park they find and we get a shot of the entrance supposedly building tension through it's appearance. -
Climax
These final shots display the conversation between Alexis and Helena. A bubbling substance is captured whilst the two of them playfully joke around. Helena accidentally pushes Alexis a little too hard and he falls right into the green substance. A luminous glow is evident which represents the birth of his superpowers. The final line of his voice-over is heard as he states that this was how he gained his superpowers.
