Introduce Mobile Makerspace Cart to Staff
Inform staff about Makerspace cart, including the contents and how it will initially be used. -
Interest Meeting for Staff
Invite all interested staff members to participate in a meeting to learn more about Makerspaces and determine who would like to be involved in the "movement". -
Afterschool Enrichment for GATE students
To generate a buzz with students we will begin to offer after school enrichment for GATE students by "Opening Up" the Makerspace to learn about how to use the products. -
Staff Meeting
Makerspace updates will be provided at staff and leadership meetings in order to keep the idea of the Makerspace fresh. An interest list of teachers will be generated for future training. -
Parent / Community Workshop
The school will host an evening workshop that will showcase the expertise of the students who have been working on projects. This event will also serve as an opportunity to make community connections for resources and expertise.
