    In 1911 when Juan Peron was 16 he decided to go to the national military college. He joined the army afterward. He served in the infantry instead of the cavalry. This was for children from wealthy families and his family was pretty poor.

    In 1938 Juan went to Europe as a military observer visiting Italy, Spain, France, Germany, and other nations. When he was in Italy he became a fan of the Prime Minister (Benito Mussolini) effective speaking and he greatly admired Benito Mussolini. He left Europe just before ww2 and came back to his home country in chaos. Admiring the prime minister effective speaking would affect him and how he became president.

    Juan had met Eva Duarte a singer and actress known as Evita both were doing relief work for a 1944 earthquake. They married in October 1945. They married after Evita led protest among Argentinas working classes to free Peron from prison.

    As labor secretary, Juan made liberal reforms that made Argentina love him for his working class. From 1944 to 1945 he was vice president for Argentina under Farrell. In October 1945 conservation foes tried to take him out but mass protest led by his new wife Evita forced the military to put him back in office.

    Juan was elected president in February 1946 and was an able administer during his first term. His goals were increased employment and economic growth international sovereignty, and social justice. He nationalized banks and railways he concentrated under a single authority, the grain industry and raised workers wages.

    In his second term is when Juan started having problems Evita died in 1952. The economy stopped and the working class began to not believe in him. His objection mostly people who held traditional traditions and disapproved of his economic and social policies became braver.

    Peron was sent into exile in 1955 and spent the 18 years in exile and the new government would not allow anyone to talk about him in public and no one could support him. When he was in exile he spent most of his time in Venezuela and Spain. He managed to convince liberal parties and conservatives that he was their best choice and by 1973 millions of people were demanding for him to return.

    In 1973 Hector Campora a stand-in for Juan was elected for president. When Peron flew in from Spain on June 20, more than 3 million people came to the airport to welcome him back. It turned into a tragedy when right-wing Peronists opened fire on left-wing Peronists also known as Montoneros killing 13 people. Peron was easily elected when Campora stepped down from president but right and left wing Peronist organizations fought openly for power. He managed to keep the rates of violence down.
