    Hamlet is angry with his mother for marrying her brother-in-law and his uncle very quickly after his father's death. They try to cheer him up because all father's die. Hamlet desires suicide because the whole world is so corrupt.

    Horatio informs Hamlet about the ghost of his father that is lurking around the castle and that it won't speak to anybody. They advise him to ignore it, but Hamlet is determined to speak to the ghost.

    The ghost of Hamlet's father reveals to Hamlet that he was acutally murdered by his brother, Claudius and didn't die of natural causes. He was killed by poison that was poured into his ear during a nap. Hamlet swears that he will kill his uncle and avenge his father's death.

    Hamlet has started to feign madness to be able to investigate his fathers death and cover up his suspicious actions. He mocks Polonius, who believes that Hamlet is mad because Ophelia has rejected him.

    Hamlet's childhood friends, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern arrive at Elsinore in Denmark. As it turns out, the King and Queen have called them to come and try and find out just why Hamlet has gone mad. However, Hamlet knows that they are stabbing him in the back.

    Hamlet soliloquizes about suicide again and whether or not life is worth continuing living. He also is feeling down and guilty for not having done anything about his father's murder yet.

    Get thee to a nunnery!
    Hamlet sits with Ophelia at the play and yells at her and tells her to get herself to a nunnery...which means a nunnery or also a brothel. He is suggesting that she lets people walk all over her.

    Hamlet almost kills Claudius, but he finds him in confessional. He couldn't kill him while doing a good deed, he wanted to kill him and catch him sinning.

    Show Time!
    A group of traveling actors comes to the castle to perform a play, and Hamlet asks them to put on a show about murder to see if Claudius shows any guilt during the show. He does...he jumps up at the end and tells the show to stop, so Hamlet presumes he is officially guilty.

    Seriously, mom?
    Hamlet finally confronts his mother about his accusation against Claudius. She freaks outs and cries, and when the ghost appears she cannot see it and makes Hamlet look a little bit psycho.

    While telling his mother everything, Polonius is spying on them. Hamlet notices somebody behind the curtain and, thinking it was Claudius, he stabs it and accidentally kills Polonius.

    Upon the murder of Polonius, Claudius decides to exile Hamlet to England. Little does Hamlet know, he is ordered to be executed there upon arrival.

    While sailing to his death in England, Hamlet jumps ship onto a pirate ship and sails back to Denmark. He changes the letter to have Rosencrantz and Guildenstern killed upon their arrival.

    When Hamlet returns home, Laertes and Claudius devised a plan to kill Hamlet. Laertes is avenging his fathers death and the king is getting rid of his threat.

    Ophelia is found drowned in a little pond outside of the castle. It is seen to be a suicide and everyone is very upset. Ophelia had gone mad.

    Laertes challenges Hamlet to a sword fight duel, where he plans to actually kill him. Hamlet accepts the message delivered by Osric.

    So, their plan goes awfully wrong. Gertrude drinks the poison and dies. Claudius is forced to drink it by Hamlet and dies. Laertes gets hit by a poisoned sword and dies.

    Hamlet dies! He drank some poison and accepted his death. He tells Horatio to clean up his reputation and tell the real story after he dies.

    Fortinbras comes in
    After everyone dies, Fortinbras comes in from Norway and decides that he will now rule Denmark since all of the royals are dead now. He honors Hamlet's valor. The End!!
