Ryan decides to get a job and shave his head
Ryan is yearning to live alone or with friends, and get out of his parents house. He decides to rent an apartment with his friends and shave his head to look different. In Erikson's fifth stage, Identity vs Role Confusion, the individual starts to question his purpose in life and value explores independence and self expression. -
Ryan decides to have a kid with his wife, and settle down.
Since Ryan has married, he has created a stable income and is financially secure. He has wanted something new in his life and decided to raise a family with his wife. In Erikson's 7th stage, Generativity vs Stagnation, the individual experiences a choice to nurture other things in life and give back to society, or creating something that benefits society.
