    This can be spotted by a doctor or even by oneself and called the ABCD's. To check for asymmetry, border, color, and diameter, to see if there are any changes in the spots.

    Skin Exams

    These tests help to screen for any skin cancers. The head to toe skin exam is done by a doctor and will be making note of any spots that look like they need closer monitoring or a closer examination. Looks at spots with a dermascope, to get a closer look. Only takes about 20 minutes to do and the doctor will also talk about potential risk factors. Should be done annually for most. But besides this check your own skin every so often to see if there is an abnormal spots.
  • Pap Test

    A doctor will look for these signs and one should as well to keep on top of catching any signs early and getting help sooner than later.

    Pap Test

    This test looks for precancers in the cervix that could become cervical cancer. Wil be done in the doctor’s office or clinic. The doctor will use a plastic/metal instrument called a speculum. This instrument helps the doctor examine and will collect a few cells and mucus from the cervix and the area around it. Should be done every 3 years or recommended time by doctor.
  • Transvaginal Ultrasound

    Used to detect Ovarian cancer by using high-frequency sound waves. Will check for ovarian cysts, tumors, fibroids, and polyps. A sonographer will most likely perform this test and will use a transducer. A radiologist will then interpret the results. Will take approx 30-60 minutes and will get results a couple of hours after the examination. Used for during an after pregnancy just in case.
  • Transvaginal Ultrasound Image

    Showing a large cyst that could be cancerous. This is found in an ultrasound to detect Ovarian Cancer.
  • Mammogram Test

    A doctor will perform this test. But you can look for abnormalities too.
  • Colonoscopy

    Colonoscopy
    A doctor will look at these results on a screen and continue through the digestive tract and may pop polyps along the way. Looks for colon cancer as well.

    Mammogram

    Breast cancer can be detected with this screening. For this test, you have to stand in front of an X-ray machine. The plates on the device will flatten the breast and take four X-ray pictures to see all sides of the breast. A doctor like a radiologist will read a mammogram and interpret the results. You will receive your results in about 30 days and it will indicate any abnormalities in the breast. After 55 should od one every 2 years or a recommended time a doctor gives you.

    Colonoscopy

    This test screens for Colon Cancer and is done by a Gastroenterologist. It is a procedure when a doctor uses a colonoscope or scope in order to look inside the rectum and colon. The scope inflates the large intestine with air for a better view. This screening can show any irritated and swollen tissues, ulcers, polyps, and any cancerous areas. Takes about 30-60 minutes to do and you will be sedated during it.
