The Second Battle of Ypres was at the western Flanders Fields. The army's that fought in the battle were, the Germans, French, the British or called the Canadians expeditionary force. The circumstances were that the Germans were gassing the allies then attacking them with gas masks. This battle was significance because it was the first time poison gas was used to kill people.
