He entered a beer hall and declared he was Germany's new ruler and started shooting, he didn't win that day. This was the first rise fo Hitler's power in Germany. It is because of his failure there that all of Germany knew him, and he would use this attention later on. -

End of the Treaty of Versailles

Also in breaking the treaty Hitler was able to construct more machines for the war effort, as well as having more money since he doesn't have to pay the retribution costs anymore. -
Rape of Nanking

After this Japan infected China with fear to act against them in anyway. Leaving the Japn able to stop trade in and aroudn Indonesian and establishing a solid foothold inthe area's water for it's ships to drive out America. -
Act of "Appeasement"

This was in vain because the next year Hitler annexed the rest of Czechslovakia to continue his campaign for global domination. -

Germany begins to ration everything from food to clothes to the people. This is that start of Germany prepping for the war effort. And when Hitler began whipping people into a war frenzy. -
