    The Last Supper

    The Last Supper
    This painting was painted by Leonardo da Vinci. It was a fresco that was much different from the past frescoes da Vinci had painted. It was created by da Vinci using experimental pigments directly on the dry plaster wall. However the painting was finished it began to start flaking off of the wall, da Vinci tried to fix the painting however his efforts didn't matter and the painting continued to crumble.

    This painting was painted by Michelangelo, it is found on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican City. It is regarded as one of the best works during the time of the Renaissance. However, over time the painting had been damaged from the smoke of the candles used during services, it caused the fresco to darken and need to be restored.

    This was painted by Pieter Bruegel, it was painted in 1563 and it can be found in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. It was an oil painting and was painted on a piece of ivory. This painting is made to show the construction of the tower of babel. The Biblical Tower of Babel was built by the unified humanity, and it was aimed to reach the heaven.

    This was painted by Paolo Veronese, it was painted in 1563 for the Benedectine Monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice. It depicts the Biblical Wedding Feast at Cana where according to the New Testament, Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water into wine. It is said that Paolo Veronese painted himself in the painting.
