Paris
From 1886-1888 he lived in paris and painted many scenes of this famous city. He also spoke fluent french. This picture in pastels is of another famous artist Henri de Toulose-Lautrec. -
Sunflowers series
In the two years between 1886-1888 van Gogh painted the sunflowers as a theme and are among his most famous paintings. -
Cut of his ear
He cut of his ear with a razor -he did many self portraits and in this one his ear is bandaged. -
The Starry Night
He painted this view from the east-facing window of his asylum room at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just before sunrise, with the addition of an imaginary village. -
Death
Vincent suffered from depression and he shot himself in the chest and died of his injuries two days later.
