He is unsure about his new family but they do their best to take him in despite their disapproval of Valor’s methods to gain custody. -
Peter is injured badly during a mission
A mission that went south causes minor to moderate fractures in Peter’s left hand and arm up to his shoulder. In order to treat his hand, the ring he’s been wearing on his left ring finger for three years to symbolize his relationship with Claude, has to but cut off. Peter is upset to find this out and has to take an extended leave from the field to recover. -
Peter begins training to return to the field
He is restless and ready to rejoin his family in the grittier parts of work. Peter also orders a new ring to replace the one he lost during the mission which injured him so. On the inside he engraves “Two thousand and four, and a lifetime more.” To reflect the engraving in Claude’s ring. -

Mac is a chef at a Compton restaurant and Paul is attracted to him immediately. -
First Meeting: Hollis and Dashiell
Hollis is with the twins in a play area for kids where Dashiell is with his nephew, a rough kid. Dashiell’s nephew hurts Neil and Avaryl in turn hurts Dash’s nephew. Hollis and Dashiell meet while Dash is disciplining his nephew. -
Hollis tells Dashiell the truth about his family
Dashiell is shaken and upset by the revelation that the man he’s been with and gotten into such a serious relationship with is the son of a mob family. He asks for space, though both parties are devastated by the separation. -
Hollis and Dashiell reconcile
They decide to figure things out and be together. Hollis agreed to step back from Compton business and move in with Dashiell. -
Valor reaches out to Stella
10 years after losing contact. Valor had continued to send books to Stella each Christmas with notes and updates about life but for the last seven years she hadn’t read them out of guilt and sadness. -
