    My timeline

  • 6th grade graduation

I graduated from my elementary school after six years. I felt accomplished and was nervous to move on to a new school. This event is a symbol for me as the greatest maturation in my life so far. Elementary school is more associated with childhood, but going to middle school leads up to the life of a young adult.
  • Started attending Oxford

This was the first day I started attending Oxford for junior high. I remember being nervous about the rest of the school year and checking my schedule paper consistently to make sure the classrooms I went into were correct. Ever since this first day of 7th grade, I have been coming to Oxford. I have become accustomed to the homework load and friendly environment.
  • First 30 hour famine

This was my first 30 hour famine in my life. I did not eat anything for a whole thirty hours, and I spent the weekend at my church. I was opened up to the hardships and painful feelings of hunger poorer people experience during this event.
  • Family Reunion

My family had a family reunion iwith my dad's side of the family in the Philippines. j
  • First dance competition

This was the first dance competition I took part in. I have been continuing my Chinese folk dance classes, and as I compete in more competitions with my dance group, I have been improving over the years.
  • Almost moving to Washington

On this day, my family and I left for Washington during the weekend to explore the area and see what Washington is like. The scenery, schools, and people there were nice, but it wasn't enough to convince my family to move there. My mom would have had a definite job if we had moved, but we decided to stay because of our friends. This event brought my family together because we made the decision together.
  • My baptismal

During this event, I shared my testimony of my life as I grew up in the church. My baptismal is important for the rest of my life because it is the day I decided to dedicated my life to my Christian religion.
