    The Kassites took over and destroyed the Hittite empire which was ruling for most of the bronze age.

    By this time the Myceneans destroyed the Minoans and got rid of their independence with a series of attacks.

    They are a great nation not in the region which was hit but were known for being the best at sea faring.

    The collapse of the bronze age

    Around 1100 BCE the governments were all waring causing a great collapse of many nations in that area

    Iron age

    It was a great dark age following the collapse of so many empires at the end of the bronze age.

    Great droughts had appeared and started to destroy crop while empires were not able to feed their own people.

    After the collapse not many places survived but the Phoenicians helped jump start the economy once again with the long distance trade.

    When the 9th century BCE came the Assyrians started to war and conquer making them the largest super power for a while in the middle east.

    The downfall of Egypt

    By the 7th century the Assyrians kept conquering into the Mediterranean getting into Egypt and taking the empire down.
