    Paris is selected to judge who should get the apple. He is to judge between Aphrodite, Hera, and Athena. All three of those goddesses bribe him, but in the end Paris chooses Aphrodite. She told him that she would give him the fairest women in the world.

    The two amies decide that a battle should be fought between the two main people involved in this battle. This is Paris and Melaenus. Paris almost dies during the battle but Aphrodite saves him. Meanwhile after this Athena wants Troy to be destroyed so she has someone shoot an arrow and another battle ensues.

    As the battle progresses, so does the fury between the gods. Ares end up fighting. In the end Ares ends up getting hurt. The Trojans now start to fall back. But then regain their position as being almost victorious.

    Hera wants Greeks to Win

    Hera got angry at Zeus when she heard about his plan. The Greeks wre now falling back again. Hera tried to distract Zeus so that he wouldn't assist the Trojans any longer. Her plan worked. But, when Zeus was undistracted again he got angry at Hera and had the Trojans drive the Greeks back to their ships where the Trojans began burning ships.

    Achilles and the War
    Achilles realized that he needed to do something. He gave his armor to Patroclus. Patroclus then led the Greek army back out to fight the Trojans but he (Patroclus) was killed by Hecotr while fighting. Hector took Achilles armor adn the Trojans began to once again become victorious.

    Achilles then wanted revenge on Hector for killing Patroclus. The Gods knwe that during this Achilles and Hector would both die when battling. Achilles attacked Hector and killed him with the assistence of Athena. After the battle, the king of Troy, Hectors' father wanted Hectors body back. Achilles felt bad for the king and gave back the body. /the fighting also ended for a nine day period to mourn Hector's death.

    After the period of nine days the Greeks and Trojans again went to battle. In battle Achilles also dies by Paris shooting him with an arrow. Odyseuss soon after got the arms that belonged to Achilles. Theis was a disgrace to Ajax who was also in the run for getting the arms. i

    The Trojans then decided to steal an image of Athena from the Trojans. Odysseus then constructed a large horse that was hollow and could fit many men inside. The horse was similar to the image that they had stolen from the Trojans. The Greeks had Chieftans hide in the horse.

    The Greeks then all left on their ships to a nearby island pretending that they were finished and admitting defeat. Only the Chieftans in the wooden horse and one other man stayed behind. The night before, the Greeks had left the wooden horse in front of the city of Troy. The Trojans were surprised but took the horse into their city. They also found a man who told a story that the Greeks had left and had left the wooden horse for the Trojans. The Trojans believed all of this.

    The Attack of Troy
    That night the wooden horse opened and the Greek Chieftens snuck out. They set fire to the city of Troy and opened the gates where the Greek army stood waiting. They then started killing all the men of Troy. All the women, childen, and the king were hiding in a palace. The Greeks destroyed this palace. The Trojans tried to fight but it was to late. The Trojans had nothing and most of the people had been killed by the Greeks.
