Tim gets his draft notice
O'Brien gets draft notice after comnig back from his job, he is really disapointed and depressed to the point where he walks off from his job and runs away to a motel kind of place where he meets a very nice old man who gives him the option to stay or leave to canada.

Marry Ann bell visits Mark Fossie at his base camp and she helps around for a while untill she lost her mind and became addicted to the war, she ends up running away into the forest and has never been seen again according to Rat Kiley. this was told my Rat Kiley who said that this was a couple months before he joined the Alpha company.

Curt Lemon gets his tooth pulled after passing out because he is so afraid of the dentist, later he ends up getting a perfectly good tooth pulled out just to prove to the team that he isnt afraid of the dentist even though he is.

Azar blows up Ted Lavenders puppy
Azar blows Ted Lavenders puppy up with a claymore after Ted just adopted it from an orphanage, but saddly Ted cant do anything about because Azar blames his matureity and its not right to have a dog with you through out a war.

Ted Lavender gets shot in the head after walking away from the group to go take a pee, he was high on tranqulizer that day too, and Cross thinks it is his fault because he was too busy day dreaming about Martha at the time an didnt get the chance to save Ted.

Rat Kiley kills the baby buffalo
The same day that Curt Lemon dies Rats emotions are very messed up so he find a baby buffalo and starts to shoot every part of the body possible that wont kill it but baddly injure it, untill alot of parts are msising from the buffalo. they throw it into a well eventually when the buffalo is still alive.

Tim kills a boy in My Kei with a grenade. he says he imagines thE boy being born in 1946, so if the boy just graduated from collage when Tim killed him then it would be around 1970. the boy was patroling the village, he didnt even want to do that as a job.

Rat Kiley shoots himself in the foot
Rat Kiley cant be a medic anymore because of him being scared by all the people that he wached die and he couldnt save. so he shoots himself in the foot bad enough where he can leave the war. He gets replaced by another person named bobby.

Tim gets shot a second time but had to suffer pain because the medic "bobby" didnt know how to do his job right and help Tim out, he was shot in the butt and it as excrutiating pain for him so he was very mad at the new medic for not helping him out so Tim and Azar pull a prank on him.

Kiowa sinks into a field of waste or you can call it poop because he got mortar shrapnel to the legs and couldnt move, Norman tried to save him but didnt want to risk his own life so he had to let go of his boot and leave. Later they found Kiowas body mangled and broken from all the crap.

Norman Bowker commits suicide
Bowker kills himself by hanging himself after he tells Tim that theres no point in living any more in a letter. Tim writes a story about Norman in 1975 and Tim says three years later after the story was writen Norman Bowker comitted suicide in a locker room.

Tim returns to vietnam with his daughter
They both return to the site where Kiowa died along with an interpreter. The daughter was not that intrested because she couldnt understand why Tim went to this spot and why it ment so much to him.
