The YardbirdsDuring his studio wotk, Jimmy was asked to play bass for the Yardbirds, The Yardbirds consisted of legends Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. After those 2 had left the Yardbirds because of conflicts, Jimmy became the lead guitar player of the blues band (Page 5).
Start of Led ZeppelinAt 21 years old, Jimmy met John Paul Jones, another session ace who could play every instrument under the sun. The two wanted to form a mega star group band, they hire fsinger Robert Plant and drummer John Bonham. The group became Led Zeppelin (Page 5).
