    Second Polish Republic

    The Second Polish Republic was a parilamentary republic from 1919 to 1926. After becoming independant poland Had problems with it's economy because of exploitation.     Hungarian Romanian War

    This war was very short but needed 3 phases of the main opperations in the first phase there were only light Skirmishes occuring which included harrasment of romanian population by the hungarians. after that the second phase occured in which hungarian authorities were forced to comply with a demarcation line. and in the third Phase some of the Allies blamed romainians for hungarian troubles.     Kingdom of Yugoslavia

    The Kingdom of Yugoslavia spaned from the western balkans to central europe which lasted during the inter war period from 1918-1941. It was formed by a merger of the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs and serbia.     Polish–Soviet War

    This was a battle between Soviet russia and Soviet Ukraine against the second Polish Republic. The Polish by 1919 won the Polish Ukrainian war and, The West Ukrainian People's Republic, led by Yevhen Petrushevych, tried unsuccessfully to create a Ukrainian state where both the Poles and Ukrainians laid claim.     Polish Lithuanian War

    The Attacks and battles heated up when Lithuania sent troops to the Bermontians in northwestern Lithuania.Border patrol guards and local villagers continued to be messed with and bothered throughout the rest of the war. In April 1920 Poland launched an assault named the Kiev Offensive where they hoped to capture ukraine this inevitably led to a peace treaty.     Treaty of Neuilly
    This treaty mainly affected Bulgaria because it required them to cede the western Thrace and because of this, it cut Bulgaria off from the Aegean Sea. It also forced the Bulgarians to give up a further area of 990 square miles on the western border of Bulgaria.     Before the creation of the Kingdom of Hungary Béla Kun started the "Red Terror" which put hungary to war with romania and in 1920 civil war broke out in which the anti Communists and monarchists "purged" the country of Communists jews and leftist intellectuals. That was known as the "White Terror". The Dissolution was caused by the soviet occupation of hungary. the Kingdom was replaced by the Second Hungarian Republic.     It overthrew the government of the bulgarian agrarian National union and replaced it with one under Aleksander Tsankov. "In several places, the coup met with the opposition of agrarian activists and individual communist volunteers, an event known in Bulgarian historiography as the June Uprising."     Apparently a Greek soldier ran after his dog and this soldier was shot. Because of this the greeks sent commands over to the bulgarians stating: The punishment of the Bulgarian commanders of the troops that shot the Greek soldiers. Official apology from the Bulgarian Kingdom's government for the incident.Six million Drachmas as compensation for the families.     Iron Guard of Romania founded
    it was founded by Corneliu Zelea Codreanu as the Legion of the Archangel Michael. They wore Green uniforms and greeted each other with a roman salute. It differed from other Fascist movements in that it was based in students and peasants.On December 10, 1933, the Romanian Liberal Prime Minister Ion Duca banned the Iron Guard.     This crash started the great depresion.     "Both countries pledged to resolve their problems through bilateral negotiations and to forgo armed conflict for a period of ten years." This worked until german policy changed in 1938. Germany offered to renew the pact with the exchange of Danzig to be annexed and for the permission of germany to build a motorway and railway.     This was a treaty that aimed at sustaining Geopolitical status signed by Greece, Turkey, Romania, and Yugoslavia. "Other nations in the region that had been involved in related diplomacy refused to sign the document, including Italy, Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and the Soviet Union. Considering that the Czechs were not invited they felt Double crossed by the UK.     Caused because of the hungarian being set for attack on the slovak border. on The day the war started Hungary attacked Slovakia without any type of declaration of war Catching the Slovakians off guard. Considering the aggresivness of the attack it was basically onesided until the Slovakians could counterattack.     Italian troops invaded Albania just before the start of WW2. The resistance was very ineffective against the italians and after a short lived defense they occupied albania. On the 9th only two days after the invasion the albanian king Zog the first ran away to greece. After that albania was led by an italian Victor Emmanuel the 3rd as a King.     The National Socialisrs gained control of Germany and wantd to get lost land back so in order to do that they had to invade poland so they could get the border and countries that they wanted back.     It occured during WW2 the Axis Powers attacked the kingdom of Yugoslovia. Hitler forced Yugoslavia to join the Tripartite Pact and the Regent that succumbed to join was replace by Coup d'etat Unfortunately Hitler took that very personally and Vowed to destroy Yugoslavia. On april 6th 1941 yugoslavia was attacked from all around and germany bombed Belgrade. No bulgarian or Romanian troops were Committed to invading Yugoslavia.
