The beatles were an English Rock and Pop band who were active until the 1970s. The beatles were knwn for setting the standard for Pop musc which still remains. -

The biggest star to emerge from the Glam rock period was Elton John who is a singer and pianist. -

The King of Pop - Michael Jackson was a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and actor. His contributions to music and dance made him a global figure in pop culture for over four decades. -

Madonna has also played a huge part in the devlopment of Pop music by pushing the boundaries of lyrical content and also the imagery used in some of her videos. -
