Destroying it took several weeks. -
Women's March on Versailles
This event took place when the king was in hiding at the palace of Versailles. The women marched all the way to this palace and forced the king to come back to the city and deal with all the problems. -

The bourbon monarchy was over thrown. The members of this dysnasty were direct descendants from Louis I. -

The Reign of Terror
The reign of terror took place because Robspeirre wanted to get rid of all threats that could lead back to the old government system of monarchy. So he went and executed all people including the current leaders and all who supported them. The Reign Of Terror ended when Robshpierre was finally the last one killed.
