  • USB cable was invented

    Universal Serial Bus. Standard conncetion for devices such has keyboards to computers.
  • Acoustic Noise Cancelling headset Series II

    Created by Bose. These headsets were used mainly for aviation at the time. Later these headsets were re-designed and named QuietComfort Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones which were available for everyone who could afford them.
  • Playstation

    The first playstation was released in early September of 95 by Sony. This changed the way all video consoles were created.
  • First Webcam launched by Microsoft

    First P-C compatable webcam
  • Palm Pilot

    These devices could connect easily to Microsoft devices. When connected to a microsoft device, it was capable of sending e-mails, making appointments, and storing contact information.
  • First E-reader

    The Rocket ebook and the Softbook reader were the first e-readers. Now there is a vast variety of e-readers available such has the Amazon Kindle or the Nook.
  • Bluetooth

    The specifications were formalized by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) which announced Bluetooth in May of 98.
  • Tivo

    system which provides an on screen view of scheduled shows on TV. You can also record certain shows you wish to watch at a later time.
  • GPS

    In 2000, the revised and more modern version of the Global Positioning System was released. The GPS tracks your position anywhere in the world by the satellites in orbit around the Earth.
  • Cold Laser Therapy

    A laser used to help cronic pain on areas such as your back or your knee. In 2002, the cold laser was passed by the FDA.
