Christopher Colombus
Christopher Colombus went searching for a new route to India. Instead of finding India (what he expacted) he found America. He cam back to the king and Queen of Spain and reported findings of gold which wasn't true. His report resulted in three voyages to follow. -

Cortez conquered Mexico. He attacked and conquered the Aztec people. His conquering led to gold and other discoveries. -

HE found a water route to the Pacific and made a map about it. HIs map led to more exploration of the gulf coast. -

De Vaca started his search for gold in Florida with his leader narvaez. -

De Vaca Discovers Texas
De Vaca shipwrecked on Galveston and was greeted by friendly Indians who are asumed to be the Comanche. He and his men were stuck there for three years. While they were there De Vaca became the Medicaine Man when he performed surgery on an indian. -

Fray Marcos and Esteban Journey
They went to study the landwhile discovering Esteban was killed by a tribe because he walked in demanding the food and women. Fray Marcos returned to report that he had found seven citys of gold. -

Coronados Expedition
Corondo traveled to Teas to find the Seven Citys of Gold and Quivera.When he found them were just Adobe villages. So Coroado Explored the Panhandle of Texas, Arizona, New Mexicao, Kansas, and Oklohoma. His guide on the way back was a Indian named Turk.
