Sputnik 1

Sputnik 1 was the first artificial satellite made by ( Soviet Union) and it is the first object sent into space, also it taking 96.2 minutes to complete each orbit. The purpose was about the technology and this start the space race.

Explorer 1

Explorer I was the first artificial satellite the U.S. put into space also, It was the first of the 90 Explorer spacecraft series. Explorer 1 found a radiation belt around the Earth.

Mercury Freedom 7

May 5, 1961

(Mercury Freedom 7) was the first spacecraft made by United State. Also carries John Glenn into the first manned orbit of the Earth, and the purpose was to determine man's capabilities in a space environment.

Gemini 3

Gemini program was called by this name based on the astrological signs.
The two pilot are Virgil I. "Gus" Grissom and John W. Young

Apollo 11

This was a great achievement because the united sates had reached the moon before the (Soviets Union).
