    Facebook
Facebook is the most used social media platform in the world, so marketing on Facebook can obviously yield the best results. This is especially true since Facebook has a very active market place full of people and companies buying and selling things. Companies also pay facebook to make banner ads and companies can make challenges/giveaways to stay more relevant and "fun"

Twitter frequently partners with other social media platforms and allows them to advertise on Twitter while they are allowed to advertise on the other respective platforms.
  • Instagram

    Instagram
On instagram, companies can post pictures and get people to follow their accounts to receive more updates and posts by them and essentially get people hooked. They can do this by encouraging people to post with their hashtag in a challenge with a prize of some sort, like a product.

    Pinterest
Companies that sell more eye grabbing and creative products advertise more on Pinterest, since pinterest is full of creative DIY tutorials which can help advertise likeminded companies/products. They also have a system where there can be ads for example under the post, so they can have more ads and is used quite frequently for advertisers.
  • Snapchat

    Snapchat
Many younger people use Snapchat, which makes it perfect for certain companies and businesses with generally younger customers/audiences to reach more desired age groups. Much like Instagram and many other social media platforms, Snapchat has a story feature where they can reach their audiences and "stay relevant". On snapchat companies can also advertise by making their own filter, and not only advertising to the person using it, but all the people who receive the picture with the filter.
  • TikTok

    TikTok
