Nosferatu was based on sex and death which was being introduced to society during those times through horror films.

Psycho contains one of the most iconic and memorable scenes in cinema history. Hitchcock killed off Janet Leigh's Marian within the first 45 minutes. Killing off the lead character so brutally shocked the audience and left them with no one to follow.

The film is usually considered to be the first distinctive 'splatter' film for its excessive gore, blood, violence and bodily mutilation.Its inspiration was Alfred Hitchcock's massivly successfull film, Psycho.

A masked figure who has haunted her since she very slightly just escaped his killing spree on Halloween night, four decades ago. On September 15, 2017, Jamie Lee Curtis announced on twitter that she would be taking the role as Laurie Strode in the film that was set 40 years after the original Halloween in 1978.
