    Proclamation of 1763
    Proclamation of 1763 banned colonist from moving west of the Appalachian Mountains. King George III did this to protect the colonists from Inavaders. The colonists ignored this act and proceeded to move west.
  • Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act was passed to have taxes on sugar, molasses, and other things that the Colonies imported from Britain. It was the birth of "Taxation without Representation is Tyranny!"
  • Quartering Act

    Quartering Act
    The Quartering act was an act were British soldiers could stay in any private home. They also had to be fed. They had to be taken care before the family. The colonists thought there rights have been violated. They refused to house these soldiers.

    Making things harder and harder on the colonists.
    they didn't ike it so they boycotted goods and burn any papers that got taxed.
    luckly the act was eventually repealed

    The Townshend Act was a time when Britain wouldn’t tax goods in the colonies, but they would tax on imported things such as lead, tea, glass, etc… The Writs of Assistance allowed British customs officials to search for goods. The colonists believe that their rights are being violated.

    but it explains happened in the massacre.
    Five men shot. Their names leave marks on Boston.
    Crispus Attucks, Samuel Gray, James Caldwell, Samuel Maverick, and Patrick Carr.
    That was the order that they were shot in.
    The soldiers were getting mad. The colonists we throwing rocks sticks ice and snow. Crispus Attucks was an african american but not acording to Paul Revere's engraving.

    Tea act stated that al tea must be imported from England. The tea was only from the British East India Co., and the tea was taxed.

    The causes of the Boston Tea Party was thee Tea Act of 1773- tea must be imported from Brittain East India Company. The tea was taxed. During the Party 90,000 lbs. of tea was thrown overboard. 116 people participated. The effects were the closing of the port of Boston untill the tea is paid for. Trials moved to England. Banned town meetings.
    And it strengthened the Quartering Act.

    700 Brittish soldiers headed towards Concord to seize munitions. 77 minutemen were waiting for the Brittish soldiers. Shots got fired. 8 farmers were killed/murdered. War has begun!
