  • Klu Klux Klan

    Klu Klux Klan
The Klu Klux Klan was originally created in Tennesse and it was made to stop blacks from voting. They once had conrol over the South and they wanted to have that power again. They wore white robes with hoods over them. They started killing and burning the blacks home. "Attempted to keep African Americans and white Republicans from voting." (Glencoe, 402). This did not show progress in American history this was a terrible time period with violence and did nto help the U.S at all.
