    Radio waves were detected by Henirich Hertz, but later in 1995, the first person to actually construct a radio was Marchese Gulgeilego Macroni. From then, he established the first radio between England and France.

    Television made its appearance in history, and people are listening to the radio in their vehicles now!!(1930 is when automobiles got radios) "Galvin Manufacturing introduced the first car radio as the (Motorola)." FM radio is becoming more organized(created in 1935). One year later more than 5 TV stations existed, and FM radio is scheduled regularly. Studios are appearing as well (first studio in 1950), and advertising on TV and radio is born.

    The day after Reagan was elected, WCBN plays "It's My Party" by Leslie Gore for 18 hrs. straight. More artist are becoming popular and well known by teenagers, adults, kids even, and 80s music is becoming a huge attraction! Teenagers did however get in trouble with this new technology the same as teenagers get in troubl with phones, ipads, computers today. In 1987 a student DJ is fired for broadcasting a series of racist jokes.

    Bluetooth was issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in July 2003. "Bluetooth — named after a 10th-century Danish king — allows devices within a 33-foot range to connect without wires, making the car a good candidate for such devices. In many vehicles, Bluetooth controls are mounted on the steering wheel, or placed on the driver-side visor."

    Today we have so many more television stations and radio stations, which comes along with studios, artists, actors, etc. Today about 88% of teenagers ages 13-17 have access to a cellular device that can play music and has bluetooth We also have headphones and earbuds that will plug into mobile devices that we can listen to music with. Music is played all around the world now and music is something that will keep rising.
