It was officially declared on August 8th, 2006 that Pluto was no longer considered big enough to be a planet. Instead, it was given the title of Dwarf Planet. -
First Born
I was born on October 16th, 2006 in Nashville, Tennesse. The exact time of my birth is unknown, but my parents did spend some time trying to figure out a name for me. Originally the plan had been if I was a boy my name would be Kayden, and if I was a girl it’d be Olivia, but I came out a girl my father still insisted I be named Kayden even though my mom wanted more feminine names. They eventually settled on the name Kayden Alayna Rose Carter. -

A New Ar(rival)
My sister was born April 7th, 2008 in Springfield, Illinois. Much like me my mother, and my aunt spent some time trying to decide on baby names. They didn’t have any in mind already so they started searching through baby books in the hospital, and settled on Aubrey Nicole Sutton Carter. -
Presidential Affairs
Barack Obama was elected becoming the 44th president. He was also the first African American president, but his presidential run ended January 20th, 2019. -
London Olympics
The London Olympics took place July 27th, 2012. The event featured twenty-six different sports. With over 180,000 spectators appearing to watch during the course of the sixteen days it was running. -
A Prideful Time
On August 26th, 2016 same-sex marriage was legalized throughout all fifty states, allowing people of the same gender or sexual identity to marry. -
Forever Friends
It was Christmas Eve. My aunt came over with a Christmas present. It was a dog, my sister and I were so excited. We named her Jessie, and she was our first ever dog. -
The Flames of Notre Dame
On April 15th, 2019 Notre Dame caught fire. This fire destroyed the spire, and most of the roof of the 850-year-old building. The fire was said to be caused by recent renovation work being done on the cathedral. -
Home Sweet Home
Around August 18th, 2019 we found a house that we liked, and soon after we moved into it. It was a small three-bedroom house in Missouri within the school district of Affton. It was weird at first, but I soon got used to it. -
A Baby's Born
October 6th, 2019 a baby was born by the name of Kyler. I consider him my baby cousin, but we are technically not related by blood. Despite this, I love him as if he is related to me. His moms even said I could babysit him when he gets older.
