Vladek Meets Anja
They saw each other for maybe 3 or 4 years. They had plans to get engaged but Lucia wouldn't leave Vladek alone. He moved and then Anja sent him pictures and wrote nice letters to Vladek. -
Anja and Vladek get engaged
Vladek finds that Anja takes pills because she is skinny and nervous. Vladek meets Anjas family and goes to dinner with them. They get engaged and moved Sosnowiec. -
Anja and Vladek get married
One of Vladeks old girls try to contact him an Anja gets upset so Vladek convinces her that he means nothing to him. Vladek moved into his father-in-laws apartment. He gave Vladek a nice watch for a wedding gift. -
Police are looking for Anja
A little after they were married when Vladek came home from a selling trip and the seamstress that lived down the hall from Anja and Vladek was being arrested because she had communist documents. Anja was getting communist documents, translating them to German and then passing them on. Anja agreed to stopped so she could stay married to Vladek. -
Vladek starts a textile Factory
Vladek tells Anja's father that he has saved up some money to open a textile shop. Her father says that he should open his own factroy -
Richiev was born!
He was a little premature. weighed 3 kilos. Anja weighed only 39! -
Anja gets sick
Anja is always either depressdd or crying. The birth of her baby was too much for her. The doctors decide to send her to a sanitarium. -
Nazi Flag
On the way to the sanitarium, the train passed a small town. Everyone looked out the window and there was a Nazi flag hanging in the middle of town. -
Anja returns home
Anja comes home and is much better. When in the sanitarium everything was muxh more peaceful. When she returned home everyone missed her. -
Vladek gets robbed
When Vladek gets home from the sanitarium, his father in law informs him that his textile factory has been robbed. Vladek is kind of upset. His father in law tells him that he will help replace the textiles.
