He got rid of grandfathers last way of being brought back. he did it on purpose because he promised grandfather. They think he lost it so the officials come and he is in some trouble. -
Cassia gets rid of the poems
she brings them to her dad's work place. -
Ky gives Cassia his artifact
Its a compass but she has never seen one. -
Cassia askes Ky to teach her how to write

Cassia and Xander have their first real date
They go to dinner with an official -
The official collect the artifacts

Xander hides an artifact
He said he could hide hers for her but she knew that it would be known by the officials that she owned it so she instead gave Ky's compass to Xander. -
Ky throws the games
Xander tells Cassia that Ky always loses the games on purpose. -
Ky admits being an Aberration
Their love finally becomes more real. They talked and were real to eachother. Ky tells Cassia he is an Aberration although she already knows, it is a step. They say if they thought of what their match would be like, it would be like the other. -
Cassia get called out of class
She was called out for an INFRACTION...which later was a "mistake"
The official who earlier talked to her told her that if she does anything with Ky she and him will get into trouble. -
Officials cut down the trees

Ky buys Cassia an illegal poem
It's a Birthday poem from the same man that wrote the one of her grandfathers that she burned -
Ky kisses Cassia on the cheek

Cassia and Ky say "I love you"
Cassia writes it and Ky says it. They kiss -
Cassia takes her test
The officials come and get Cassia after hiking and take her to her test that will show what she will do for her real job. The thing she has to sort turns out to be a group of workers with Ky Markham right in the middle of her sort. She had to choose whether he was a good worker or inefficient. She chose the better. -
Cassia realizes the gov. is killing people
She realizes the officials poison people. Like when she couldn't share food with her grandfather when they were at the Final Banquet. -
Cassia tells Xander she loves Ky

The Officials take Ky
They take Ky and his mother was screaming. She woke everyone up. Everyone had to take the red tablet which erases their memory of what has just happens. The pill won't work on Xander and Cassia didn't take hers. -
Cassia's family gets relocated to the Farmlands

She finds that her love was an experiment
Her official explains that the whole thing was set up on purpose and this is to prove how well the matching system works. She says that they personally put Ky in the matching pool. Of course they did not and Cassia knows that. She doesn't know eho and neither does the Official... -
Xander says good bye
Xander gives Cassia a bunch of blue tablets and some things for her to remember. He is helping her find Ky. -
Cassia is working in the fields
She was sent to work in the fields and she thinks she is closer to Ky that way anyway. She is planting seeds everyday, her work position temporarily.
